Smallhous Baptist Church.

Most, if not all, of the houses, places of business, and other structures are either gone from Smallhous or they are in a sad state of disrepair. One main structure is still looking good after many years of service. The Smallhous Missionary Baptist Church building is not only standing, it is thriving, well maintained, and looking good. This Baptist Church was chartered in 1897. The original Church building burned in the early twentieth century and was soon rebuilt. It is located at 350 Smallhouse Lane, Centertown, KY. 42378.

Lynn Rossie Stewart is the current pastor of the Smallhous Missionary Baptist Church. I am not a member, but I am sure that anyone reading this material would be welcomed at the Church. Sunday School starts at 10:00 and is followed by Church Services at 11:00. A Wednesday Bible Study starts at 6:30.

Following are instructions of how to find the Church Building. It is located at 350 Smallhouse Lane just South-West of Centertown, KY. From Harford, county seat of Ohio County, take Hwy. 69 going South-West for about 12 miles. Turn right on Smallhouse Lane as the road splits, with Hwy. 69 going toward the river. Church is on the right, a mile or so after the split. I am confident you will enjoy your visit.
