Greetings all and a special "Good Day" to you. As you can see, I have added the Rockport second and third grade class of 1948 to the Web Page. I think that most of you are a few years older than this class and some of you had graduated, and were long gone from Rockport by the time that this picture was taken. Anyway, I think that you can view this class and pick out some of the students and be able to correctly identify a few. If not that, I think that you can view some and be able to remember an older brother or sister. I have kin in this bunch and you may have also. It is a nice looking bunch of students that left Rockport to follow their dream and went on to become successful in life. As for now, most have retired and enjoying kids and grandkids. Imagine, this bunch of youngsters being retired! There tykes were the younger ones. What does that make us?

Again, I am not sure who to thank for sending this Rockport Grade School picture. Cookie sent some grade school pictures and Dale sent some. I think that Dale is the one to thank for copying the picture and maybe Cookie for sending it to me. Anyway, thanks to both as they have been very helpful.
