Dennis Hoskins entered the U. S. Marines in May 1992. He received three months of basic training at a Boot Camp on Parris Island, SC. He later attended Infantry School at Camp Geiger, NC. In 1994 he received an honorable discharge from the Marines. He is now a member of the Naval Reserves under an inactive status. Dennis now lives in Henderson, Kentucky. He is a Kentucky State Policeman. Both his father, Gerald Hoskins and his grandfather, Ray Smith Jr. served in the U. S. Army. Thanks Dennis, for your service to our country. The proceeding paragraph about Dennis Hoskins was taken from "Our Heroes Forever" booklet that was composed by Shirley Fulkerson Barnes and Delona Smiley Fulkerson. "Our Heroes Forever" is a Pond Run Baptist Church production in honor of the local heroes of the Armed Forces. The actual production date of the pamphlet is unknown to me, but would guess it to be in the time frame of 2002. Thanks you two. See you, jrd |
