Willard is a lifelong resident
of the Rockport area and attended Rockport High School and Jubilee Grade School.
He married Analee Fulkerson October 20, 1960 and they proceeded to make their home
on Hwy. 1245, in Rockport, KY. They have two daughters, three grandchildren, and
three great grandchildren. Willard was in the coal mining industry
for thirty one years before retirement. Willard Lee Thomas was born August 12, 1930 at Rockport, Kentucky. He was inducted into the Army to Fort Mead, Maryland August 8, 1951. He took basic training at Camp Breckinridge, near Fort Campbell. He spent his service time at Killeen, Texas. He was discharged August 9, 1953. Thanks Snowball for your service. |
